1. “From Austen to Zola: Amy Lowell as a Collector,” Houghton Library’s fall exhibition, showcases the collection of Pulitzer Prize winning poet Amy Lowell. It includes works by writers and artists such as Jane Austen, Ludwig von Beethoven, William Blake, Charlotte Brontë, John Keats, Michelangelo, Walt Whitman, and Émile Zola. This exhibit opens Sept. 4 and closes Jan. 12, 2013. See the article (from which I have heavily paraphrased! Sorry! Love, Tess) here.

For those of you in Massachusetts, or who can somehow get to Harvard, this could be very cool!
